--I started this blog in the Summer of '10 in Chicago while interning with Aware Records & A-Squared Management and used this to record some of my adventures while interning there. I've decided to pick it up in 2011 and now to share my adventures and experience while interning in Nashville, TN this summer at Milkglass Creative & Buddy Lee Attractions. Enjoy.--
My name is Jose, I'm a student at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. I own Defacto Productions and manage and develop local, independent & unsigned artists. I own Defacto Photography shooting mostly concerts and artists and currently working on an iPhoneography project. I book over 100 bands and artists for a 3-day music & arts festival in downtown Bryan, TX known as Rock The Republic. I host my own radio show, The Defacto Lounge, on KANM Student Radio at A&M and bring in artists to the studio for acoustic sets & interviews. I work with non-profits, charities, service groups and other organizations and promoters to produce & manage large-scale & benefit concerts, including Aggie Relay For Life with The American Cancer Society.
